We want everyone to be able to use this website and, where they are asked to, take the Admin Skills Screen. The public pages, the staff dashboard and the candidate screens are built to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA: every form field has a label, everything works with a keyboard, text and controls meet contrast requirements, and status messages are announced to screen readers.
Known limitation: the timed exercise
Parts of the exercise show information for a fixed number of seconds and then hide it, and every answer has a time limit. That format can disadvantage people with some disabilities, including attention, reading and visual conditions. Two accommodations exist today:
- Extended time: the employer can set 1.5x or 2x time on your code, which lengthens every reveal and answer window. Nothing else changes.
- Read-aloud: the supervising staff member on the call can read instructions aloud and confirm you have understood them before you start.
Ask the person who invited you before you start, and they will set it on your code. If you need something else, tell them; the employer decides what accommodation is reasonable, and we will help them provide it.
